I am really happy with my colour images and how my photo editing skills have developed on this course. For this shoot as explained in my previous blog post I used a beauty dish and a black background as my lighting set up in order to show the glowing golden toned skin of my model. I think these images show the flawless skin of my model without making her look unnatural. The main tools I used in photoshop were, colour balance and light adjustments in order to get the best possible colouring on my images. I also used the Patch tool and the spot healing tool to cover any blemishes, although few, that my model had.

I am also so happy with the outcome of my black and white images lit at one side on a low exposure with a soft box light. I think these images are very dramatic and because there is no colour you can really focus on the raw beauty of my model. I found it hard to take a full length hair shot as my models hair was extremely long and the brief was to have a head and shoulder shot. However her hair travelled quite far down below the shoulders and so wouldn't have fit the brief. I also wanted her hair to be relaxed and waved, a cascading effect. So I decided to take images where the hair was shown like that as I feel that full length hair shots would have been boring as it was quite a natural hair style.  I really like the low key lighting and low exposure I created with the lighting. I think my photo editing and putting these images into black and white has created a much moodier image that I am very happy with.
